Diclofenac diethylamine

Indications/Uses

Post-traumatic inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscle & joints due to sprain, strain & bruise. Tendovaginitis, bursitis, shoulder-hand syndrome, periarthropathy, osteoarthrosis in peripheral joints & vertebral column.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Apply 3-4 times daily to the affected area.

Contraindications

Asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis caused by aspirin or other NSAIDs.

Special Precautions

Avoid contact w/ open wound, eyes or mucous membrane. Avoid concomitant use w/ oral prep to avoid active toxicity. Avoid extensive & prolonged use. Pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Local irritation, erythema, allergic or non-allergic contact dermatitis. Skin rash, hypersensitivity reactions eg, asthma, angioedema; photosensitivity reactions.
